Welcome to our website! GCS is a small, K3-12th grade school composed of students from a wide variety of economic, social, ethnic, and denominational backgrounds. We offer many extracurricular activities as well as academic clubs, to not only increase our student's knowledge but also to cultivate a Christ centered individual. Our athletics have become very competitve with both our Varsity girls and boys basketball teams winning State Championships in our conference this past year.  Our strong academic program is why our average ACT and Stanford Achievement Test scores far exceed state and national averages. That said, we also work very hard to make sure our students' time at school is appealing and entertaining. To enhance what we do in the classroom, we involve our students in athletics, music, art, drama, fun and educational field trips, and meaningful activities every day.

This upcoming school year we are implementing a "House System" where students will belong to a house within the school and have the opportunity to compete against the other houses based on conduct, academics, sporting events, and school spirit activities. We will be the first school in Winston County to implement this system and we are very excited to see it come to fruition!

Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, academically excellent education in a safe environment where students can excel, feel loved, and have help when they need it. Our goal for every child every day is what Luke 2:52 says of Jesus: "And the child grew in wisdom and statue and in favor with God and man."
